On October 2, 2018, Gujarat Chief Minister Shree Vijaybhai Rupani purchased khadi for “Graamshilp” at Ashram Road in Ahmedabad to give a boost. In addition to this, he inaugurated the new building of Khadi Village Board and Khadi Museum of the Gujarat State which will be constructed at a cost of about Rs.19 crore near the new Vadaj Circle in Ahmedabad. The “Ashram Bhajnawali Program” was organized on the evening of October 2, 2018, at the Hriday Kunj of the Sabarmati Ashram in Gujarat, Ahmedabad, In which Governor of Gujarat, Shri O.P. Kohli and Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani were present.
Note: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani has announced a compensation of 20% on the retail sale of Khadi, manufactured in Gujarat from October 2 to December 31, 2018, by Gandhi Jayanti.
